How to use the Tempest V2:
- Loosely fill the bowl with herbs (around 0.1–0.2 g depending on your preference). Tip: Use the 3-stage screen to set your desired load height.
- Close the Head with the twist-to-lock ball screen – a simple turn locks it in place.
- Heat the Cap evenly with a jet lighter or induction heater (like The Wand) until you hear the click.
- Take a slow, controlled draw. The Tempest V2 responds directly to your airflow – more draw = more convection power.
- After the cool-down click, you can either reheat for another round or finish your session.
Tip: For denser clouds, preheat the cap briefly (1–2 seconds) before starting your full heat-up cycle.
Cleaning & Maintenance:
To keep your Tempest in top form, regular cleaning is key – especially the cooling unit and screen.
- Disassemble the cooling unit and clean it with isopropyl alcohol (91 %+) or warm water.
- The zirconia balls in the Head should stay clean and dry – no need for soaking, just give them a good blowout if needed.
- Check the O-rings from time to time – a small dab of silicone grease keeps them flexible.
Important: Always let the Head cool down fully before taking it apart or storing it – titanium gets very hot!
Pro tips from the community:
-
Click tuning: You can adjust the click response by swapping discs or learning to time your heat cycles manually.
-
Cooler draws? Use the WPA connection (10, 14 or 18 mm) with a water tool for smoother sessions.
-
Ball swaps: Try other heat media like ruby spheres for different retention and flavor profiles.
The Tempest V2 is not a toy – it's a serious tool for vapor connoisseurs. With a bit of practice, you’ll master your perfect sweet spot and repeat it anytime.

Usage Note:
Back-to-back sessions with the Tempest V2 are totally possible – but they do require some experience due to the large heat reservoir. Once you get the timing right, it’s incredibly satisfying.
Disc Behavior:
Each Tempest disc clicks a little differently – and that’s totally normal. Every unit is individually calibrated. Tip: try dry-testing the click to get a feel for it. Trust the process – it pays off.
