What is CBD?

Cannabidiol, or CBD for short, is an active substance (cannabinoid) contained in hemp. There are a variety of different cannabinoids, which are characterized by the ability to connect to the corresponding cannabinoid receptors in the nervous system. There are various endogenous cannabinoids (called endocannabinoids) and cannabinoids contained in plants (called phytocannabinoids). CBD belongs to the second group and does not occur in the body. However, for hundreds of years, hemp has been a plant that has found a wide variety of uses and is therefore strongly associated with humans.

CBD is one of the main active ingredients in hemp. In contrast to THC, the psychoactive drug in cannabis, CBD is not intoxicating. Usage of CBD:

Dosage / Use:
