Its portable construction is particularly useful for patients who need to use their inhalation device in different locations. Compared with a desktop unit, its chamber, cooling system and power supply are necessarily more compact.
VOLCANO MEDIC 2 for Desktop Treatment
The VOLCANO MEDIC 2 is a mains-powered medical vaporizer intended for use in a fixed location. Depending on the selected application system, the generated aerosol can be inhaled from a valve balloon or directly through a tube.
The desktop unit does not rely on a battery and is suited to regular or longer applications at home. Its balloon system allows the generated aerosol to be collected before it is inhaled separately from the base unit.

Oral Oils Must Not Be Used in a Herb Chamber
A medical dry herb vaporizer is not automatically compatible with every cannabis medicine. Oils, capsules and oil-based formulations intended for oral use must not be placed inside a dry herb chamber and inhaled.
Concentrates should only be used when covered by the device’s medical intended use, the prescription and the operating instructions. The presence of an additional pad or insert does not make a vaporizer suitable for arbitrary liquids.
Cleaning and Hygiene
A clean vapor path is particularly important during regular medical use. Residue can change the airflow and affect screens, valves, mouthpieces and cooling components.
Clean the device only according to its official instructions. Not every plastic component, seal or electronic part may be treated with isopropyl alcohol or immersed in liquid.
