Due to the high capacity and simultaneously high current output, the use of the VTC6 from Sony is possible in almost all areas. Particularly noteworthy areas of application: Power tools such as cordless drills, drill screwdrivers and various industrial areas. The use in pedelecs (e-bikes), battery carriers, model making, etc. would also be possible without any problems. However, the Sony cell achieves good and safe values up to 20A discharge current.

General notes:
Charging Lithium Ion batteries requires a special charger that charges the batteries using a special charging method. (CCCV = constant current, constant voltage.) The batteries must not be charged above a voltage of 4.2 volts, otherwise there is a risk of fire and explosion. It is advantageous to charge the batteries only up to approx. 4.1 volts, as this significantly increases the service life or the number of charging cycles (possibly up to double). Only lithium ion chargers may be used for charging.
