Design and build quality

The Fenix Mini looks stylish and fits very well in the hand. The device feels valuable. The herbal chamber is made of stainless steel. Only the removable mouthpiece is not particularly high-quality due to the use of plastic and silicone. The airway, however, is made of glass and thus guarantees a good taste of the herbs.

The operation is easy by the good arrangement of the buttons by hand. The workmanship is clean. We noticed a slight smell of plastic. Which was found in our test but not in the taste. The built-in LEDs give this vaporizer a particularly chic look. The Fenix Mini Portable Vaporizer OLED screen displays the set temperature and effective temperature, including the number of seconds remaining before the auto power off.

Use of the Fenix Mini

Before first use, the device should be sterilized. This ensures that production residues can evaporate. The device is switched on and set to the highest level. After 4 minutes, the device switches off automatically. This process can be repeated up to 3 times.

To fill the device with herbs, simply remove the mouthpiece, fill in herbs and replace the mouthpiece. Then press the on / off switch 5 times quickly. The LED display shows the current temperature. The indicator light illuminates RED during heating. When the desired temperature is set, it changes to GREEN. The Fenix Mini turns itself off after 4 minutes for safety. In order to evaporate concentrates, the mini is a quartz chamber at. Simply peel off the silicone cap, add wax or oil and replace the cap. Insert the quartz chamber into the unit and enjoy at the highest temperature.

We recommend not filling the device completely to ensure the best air circulation. So you always have full and good tasting vapor.

Vapor production and taste

As the Fenix Mini is a pure convection vaporizer, its taste and steam production are excellent. Even at low temperatures it gets cloudy due to the very good airflow. Concentrates evaporate clean and the aroma is also good effect. For the size of the device, we are really excited about this point.

Cleaning and Maintenance

The mouthpiece is removed to clean the Fenix Mini. The herbs are removed with the included stuffing tool. Remove the remaining herbs with the cleaning brush. With a cotton swab soaked in isopropyl, the chamber can be cleaned carefully if heavily soiled. Hold the device down. So no alcohol can get into the heating element. The mouthpiece can be disassembled. Just put the glass and sieve in alcohol. Then rinse with clear water and allow to dry.

Battery life, charging and operating time

The Mini has a built-in battery with a capacity of 1600mAh. That's enough for about 50 minutes of continuous operation depending on the selected temperature. The charging time is relatively fast with about 2 hours. We recommend fully charging the Fenix Mini before first use. The battery is full when the battery icon is lit. In order to ensure the best vaporization, we recommend charging the battery at low charge. The Device should not be used while charging.

Tips for use

• To turn the device on or off press the power button 5 times within 2 seconds.
• To switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius, press the on / off switch and the "-" button together for 2 seconds.
• The desired temperature can be changed using the "+" or "-" buttons.
• The Fenix Mini shuts off after 4 minutes to prevent overheating.
