The Dani Fusion 2.0 from Battery-Free Ganz is an improved version of the Dani Fusion 1.0 and has been optimised in the important areas so that it can continue to play at the forefront of TEDs. BFG (Battery-Free Ganz) listens to the community and improves according to their wishes. One of the few manufacturers to whom customer feedback is extremely important.

The components of the Dani Fusion 2.0 in Detail:

Titanium chamber: the chamber can hold up to 0.2 grams of herbs. For a good, even extraction, you should not stuff the herbs too tightly so that sufficient airflow can be created.
Airflow control: You can adjust the airflow of the Dani Fusion 2.0 to different positions. This enables good individualisation of the airflow and contributes to a smooth extraction.
The CCD screen is made of robust stainless steel and does not bend as easily as other TEDs.
The Fusion 2 uses 4 larger Viton O-rings for the tip-to-stem connection with an outer diameter of 7.5-8 mm and a thickness of 1 mm and 2 smaller Viton O-rings for the inner part, each with an outer diameter of 6 mm and a thickness of 1 mm.
The stainless steel cap is fitted with 2 silver rings and is Induction Heater ready (does not work with our Cuboo Heater but with the WAND)
The wooden versions use a stem made of Vietnamese tracwood with a stainless steel lining to protect the wood from the vapor.
The new metal stem is made of 100% stainless steel and consists of two sections that are layered inside each other with the help of O-rings. This design helps to cool the vapours more efficiently and quickly. Despite repeated continuous heating, the stem remains cool to the touch.
The condenser inside the stem cools the vapour and makes it smooth to inhale.
The titanium drip tip feels good on the lips and sets the Dani Fusion 2 apart from other TEDs.
The waxed leather case is now softer than the old cases and offers you storage space and a way to twist off the hot cap after use if you want to refill it straight away.

What are the improvements of the Fusion 2.0 compared to the Fusion 1.0?

The titanium chamber is now slightly larger and offers you the option of a half-bowl setting for micro dosing, similar to the DynaVap. The threads have been reduced from 4 to 3 so you need less time to unscrew the cap from the tip.
The silver rings offer a quick heating function. Each ring is positioned differently to allow individual adjustment of the vaporisation for MTL or DRL.
The thermal disc (the clicker) has a higher temperature setting compared to the Dani Fusion 1.0, so you need to heat for a shorter time over the click to get a strong extraction.
The cap is nice and thick and can therefore store a lot of heat for a longer period of time.
No turning of the Dani Fusion 2.0 is required during the heating process. So you can use your jet flame lighter more intuitively.
The new Dani Fusion 2.0 cools the vapour even better than its predecessor and remains cool to the touch even after several heating cycles.
The new wooden stems no longer have an airport, but instead have 4 holes that help to cool the vapor, but no longer have any influence on the airflow!
Easy cleaning of the individual parts with isopropanol alcohol.

How do you use the Dani Fusion 2.0?

The principle is the same as with any other TED. Herbs are packed into the top of the chamber. Approx. 0.2 grams fit in the new Dani. You should pack the herbs loosely. Then screw on the cap and heat either with a jet flame lighter or an IH (it is best to use the WAND) until it clicks. You should start at the point where the silver rings are with the lighter and can of course also heat for 3-5 seconds over the click, depending on your requirements and the desired extraction. TEDs have a learning curve, but it is easy to master. Experiment with different options, such as the distance and size of the flame, to get the result you want.

Cleaning:

As soon as changes in flavour occur or it becomes difficult to pull the appliance, it is time to clean it with isopropanol. You can soak all metal parts in it. The wooden stems are best cleaned with a Q-tip and alcohol. Please be careful not to damage the wood. You can rub the wood with a maintenance material such as wood wax at any time so that you can enjoy it for a long time.

If you are looking for a mechanical vaporiser that is easy to use and has a great taste, you should definitely take a look at the new Dani Fusion 2.0. The device is really impressive.

Bin begeistert.
Bin langjähriger, überzeugter Nutzer von feuerzeugbetriebenen Vapes. Dani v2 bietet viele Vorteile. Kühler geschmackvoller Dampf, vor allem weil eher Konvektion statt Konduktion passiert. Eine massive, verschraubte Kappe, man muss nicht extra noch ein Armoured Cap kaufen. Unterschiedliche Temperaturen verlässlich möglich. Absolut edle Optik, sogar mit einem Ledertäschchen. Schönes, wertiges Gewicht.Super Verarbeitung, alles gleitet smooth ineinander.
Die Airflow ist etwas fummelig einzustellen und nur im kalten Zustand, überzeugt aber mit tadelloser Funktion.
Ein Tipp, ausgeliefert wird mit reduzierter Kammer, also das Sieb runter drücken,falls man zu wenig Kraut rein bekommt. Zusammen mit dem Honest Feuerzeug (Kaufempfehlung) eine stimmige, edle Kombi. Meine Dynavaps gehen, bis auf den 2021 Omni Ti, jetzt in Rente.

5/5 Punkten für BFG. Chapeau.
Der Dani Fusion 2.0 holt mich in jeder Hinsicht voll ab: Bei ca. 4 mal
heizen lässt er 6-10 saftige Hits zu, die einen TinyMight 2 schon etwas
kleinlich erscheinen lassen.
In der Hinsicht der Cap und des Heizens war er immer 100% konsistent.
Das AVB ist gut gebräunt, aber nicht zu dunkel. Die Terps kommen voll
durch und die Menge an Dampf ist geiler und (viel) geschmackvoller als
der Anvil es jemals war. Ein DynaVap wirkt mit voller Befüllung eher wie
ein Microdoser im Vergleich. Geschmacklich auch lange nicht so rund. Die
Armored Cap hinkt da deutlich(st) hinterher - geschmacklich und
konsistenzmäßig betrachtet.
Er ist kein One-Heat-One-Full Extraction Gerät, aber das wollte ich auch
nie. ich liebe das Ritual mit einem Torch zu arbeiten, das Gerät kurz
ruhen zu lassen und dann wieder von Neuem zu bespielen. Gerade mit einem
Torch (egal ob Single oder Dual) gibt er Vollgas und lässt mir keine
Wünsche offen. Selbst nach 4-5x heizen wird der Stem NULL heiss oder
unangenehm anzufassen. Klar, handwarm schon, aber nichts, was ein
anderer anders machen würde.
Gerade der Geschmack, die Saftigkeit der Hits, das Gefühl inkl. seinem
Gewicht und der gefühlten (und maschinell bedingten) Wertigkeit lässt
bei mir (!) keine Wünsche offen. Das Zuggefühl ist mit AFC voll offen
immer noch restriktiv, aber lässt sich sehr angenehm schmauchen. Mit
abnehmender Luftzufuhr wird er dann natürlich eher ein Paffer als ein
Durchzieher, aber das brauche ich eh nicht.
Davon kommt ein 2.in Haus.

Super Dampferlebnis mit leichten Abzügen bei Reinigung und Wartung
Der Dani Fusion 2.0 erzeugt wirklich einen klasse Dampf. Er hält sich super in der Hand und fühlt sich wertig an.
Die Kappe ist wirklich massiv und schwer und wird aufgeschraubt statt aufgesteckt. Sie hat genug thermische Masse um die Hitze über eine kurze Zeit konstant zu halten und somit einen konstant dichten Dampf zu erzeugen.
Single Extraction wird sicherlich möglich sein, ich habe das aber selber noch nicht getestet da mir das einfach zu stark ist.

Ein paar Kleinigkeiten stören mich dennoch an dem Gerät:
- Die Kappe wird auf die Spitze aufgeschraubt und die Spitze in den Stem gesteckt. Ist die Kappe ein wenig zu fest zugedreht, dreht sich die ganze Spitze im Stem statt nur die Kappe. Das ist vor allem ärgerlich wenn das Gerät noch heiß ist.
- Die Airflow lässt sich nur einstellen wenn die Kappe abgeschraubt ist. Somit ist ein ändern der Airflow am heißen Gerät relativ schwierig ohne sich zu verbrennen. Ein Kickloch wie bei der M7 existiert nicht.
- Die Lederhülle wird auch unangenehm warm wenn man das Gerät nach dem Benutzen dort hineinsteckt und man spürt die wärme in der Hosentasche. Es nimmt zwar an sich nicht so viel Platz weg wie ein Holz-Case, isoliert die wärme aber auch nicht so gut.

Fazit:
Mit dem Dampferlebnis bin ich wirklich zufrieden, da spielt das Gerät definitiv in der Oberliga mit. Das Handling des Gerätes, vor allem wenn es heiß ist, empfinde ich als deutlich aufwendiger als z.B. bei einer Dynavap. Für unterwegs nutze ich daher weiterhin lieber andere Geräte, zuhause benutze ich die Dani aber regelmäßig und bin insgesamt zufrieden damit.
