Charging:
This device is equipped with overcharge protection, allowing it to stay plugged in until used.
- Insert the micro-USB Kabel into the end of the PhenoPen device.
- Plug the USB into an active port or wall adapter.
- Halo pulses red, indicating the device is charging.
- Halo changes to solid green once the device is fully charged.
How to use the PhenoPen?
- Insert/drop cartridge into the device. The magnet will connect the cartridge firmly in place.
- Draw on mouthpiece to activate. Device pulses (active feedback) to indicate that it is active during usage.
Active feedback indication:
- One pulse = 30% battery capacity remaining (recharging recommended)
- Two pulse = 10% battery capacity remaining
- Halo flashes 5 times = battery expired
To remove an empty cartridge, simply detach and dispose it.
Troubleshooting:
If no activation occurs: Rotate mouthpiece to ensure positive connection. Make sure the device is charged.
High resistance to draw: Do not cover air intake holes during activation
