Clary Sage (Salvia sclarea L.)
Clary sage contains many essential oils and has an aromatic, spicy smell with a hint of lemon. As a tea it is very digestible and has an antibacterial, analgesic, toning and digestive effect. The application is similar to that of real sage.
Use as tea:
To make a Muscat Sage tea, pour a cup of boiling water over one or two teaspoons of Muscat Sage flowers/leaves and leave to infuse for ten minutes. Then strain and drink in small sips. Drink one to three cups of this tea daily.
Use as vapor:
You can vaporize the Muscat Sage at about 190 degrees Celsius. We can recommend the Linx Eden for herbs. Because of its pure convection heating, the herbs taste very pure.
