Halogen Heating Element with Ruby Balls:

The Angus Enhanced features an innovative 100-watt halogen heating system combined with ruby balls for efficient heat retention and distribution. The halogen lamp emits heat and light, which is absorbed by the ruby balls below the herb chamber. This combination of convection and conduction ensures consistent, flavorful vapor while preserving the natural taste of your herbs.

To further enhance vapor cooling, the Angus Enhanced’s glass stems can be fitted with adjustable screens to add extra glass balls (sold separately). The number of balls depends on the type of balls and the size of the glass tube, with small, medium, and large tubes accommodating approximately 70, 100, and 150 ruby balls, respectively.

Adjustable Airflow Control:

The Angus Enhanced allows you to control your vaping experience with the adjustable airflow dial at the bottom of the device. Turn the dial clockwise to restrict airflow for a tighter, flavor-rich draw, or counterclockwise to open up the airflow for a looser, cloudier draw.

Isolated Air Path:

The Angus Enhanced delivers clean, flavorful vapor with every draw by isolating the vapor path from the device’s electrical components.

Temperature Settings:

Choose from five preset temperature settings: 180°C, 190°C, 200°C, 210°C, and 220°C. Each setting also includes a 10°C boost mode, activated by holding the button until the device vibrates. Experiment with different temperature settings and the boost mode to find the ideal balance between flavor and vapor production.

To optimize battery life and prevent overheating, the Angus Enhanced features a 5-minute auto shut-off. To extend your session beyond 5 minutes, simply press the power button once.

Temperature Adjustment with Software:

The temperature settings can be updated using the firmware update tool (Files with temperature settings and instructions are available for download on the Yllvape website, note: this feature is currently being tested). We recommend keeping the temperature settings as they are unless you have the necessary experience, as changing settings outside the suggested parameters can damage the device and void the warranty.

Our Conclusion:

This new version of the Angus represents a significant improvement over the original. The enhanced airflow and improved vapor quality make a noticeable difference. The simple glass mouthpiece, especially when combined with a few glass balls, provides better cooling and a more enjoyable experience compared to the old cooling system of the original Angus. The included accessories, such as the bubbler, work well and offer excellent value for money, making this vaporizer an outstanding choice.
