Design and build quality
The Solo 2 MAX stays close to the familiar Solo design. It feels sturdy in the hand, has a high-quality build and is more robust than ultra-compact. With the glass stem inserted, it is not the most discreet pocket vaporizer, but it makes up for that with great handling, long runtime and simple operation.
The front features the OLED display, power button and temperature buttons. The USB-C port is located on the back, while the heating chamber sits on top. The glass aroma tubes are inserted directly into the heater and also work as the herb chamber.
Glass stem system: simple, clean and flavor-focused
Typical Arizer: your herbs are loaded directly into the glass aroma tube. This keeps the vapor path very clean and makes maintenance easy. After a session, simply empty the stem, brush it out if needed and occasionally soak it in isopropyl alcohol.

How to use the Arizer Solo 2 MAX
Fill the aroma tube loosely with herbs. Do not pack it too tightly. The load should be firm enough that nothing falls out when the stem is turned over, but airflow should remain open. If your material is ground very finely, we recommend using one of the included stainless steel screens to prevent small particles from being pulled through the glass holes.
The Solo 2 MAX is switched on using the power and up buttons. You can then set the temperature precisely. The temperature range is 50Ā Ā°C to 220Ā Ā°C. We like to start lower, around 185ā190Ā Ā°C, and increase the temperature step by step during the session.
The heat-up time is around 30 seconds. Once the set temperature is reached, the Solo 2 MAX lets you know that it is ready.
Session use or short on-demand-style draws
The Solo 2 MAX is mainly a session vaporizer. The session timer can be set between 5 and 15 minutes, with 10 minutes as the default. You can also use it for short draws: let the device heat up, insert the stem, take a draw, remove the stem and close it with the silicone cap. Once the stem is removed from the heater, the herbs are no longer actively heated.
14Ā mm water pipe adapter included
The kit includes a 14Ā mm water pipe adapter, allowing you to connect the Solo 2 MAX directly to a compatible bubbler or water filter. The display can be inverted, so it remains easy to read when the vaporizer is used upside down on glass.
Vapor quality and battery life
The Solo 2 MAX uses an improved hybrid heating system. It mainly relies on convection, while some heat is also transferred through the glass to the herbs. This provides even extraction, great flavor and consistent results.

Wait briefly for denser vapor: For stronger vapor from the first draw, let the device sit for another 10ā30 seconds after it reaches temperature.

Empty the stem right away: After the session, empty the aroma tube and keep the glass holes clear. This improves airflow and reduces cleaning effort.
Important before first use: Let the Solo 2 MAX run empty 2ā3 times before your first real session. Insert the glass stems carefully once the device is warm. On brand-new units, the fit can be quite tight at first.
Pro tip: Arizer devices can also be used for certain resins. We recommend using a suitable herb capsule, some degummed hemp fiber and a higher temperature to prevent anything from running into the device.
