Dani Punch 2.0 – Thermal Extraction Device by Battery-Free Ganz
The Dani Punch will be available on our website in spring 2026. However, you are welcome to put your name on the waiting list so that you will be notified as soon as the Punch goes online.
The Dani Punch 2.0 is the updated version of the original Dani Punch and differs in several key aspects from both the first edition and the Dani Fusion 2.0. It features a slightly wider, tapered herb chamber, a more open airflow, and a redesigned full stainless steel cap. This results in faster heat-up and cooldown times and improved compatibility with a wider range of induction heaters.
The internal cooling system remains a strong point. A multi-layer condenser guides vapor back and forth along the stem, effectively cooling it while capturing particles. Flavor remains clean and well-defined, even at higher temperatures.
The Dani Punch 2.0 is tuned more toward speed, responsiveness, and portability than the first edition. Due to the lower thermal mass of the stainless steel cap, a full extraction typically requires more than one heat cycle. In return, the device reacts quickly to temperature changes and is well suited for short, controlled sessions on the go.
Which Dani is right for me?
-
Dani Punch 2.0: If you want fast, short sessions, prefer open airflow, and often use induction on the go (except Flare).
-
Dani Fusion 2.0: If you prefer longer, steady session-style draws and want the broadest induction compatibility (including Flare).
-
Dani Punch 1: If you like a more traditional, restrictive draw and tend to prefer higher heat retention for “one-and-done” style hits.
Rule of thumb: Punch 2.0 = fast & direct, Fusion 2.0 = long & steady, Punch 1 = classic & heat-retentive.
Heating & usage
The Dani Punch 2.0 should generally be heated to the second click of the cap. Higher temperatures can be achieved by extending the heating slightly. With induction heaters, insertion depth influences heat-up time. When using a torch, evenly heating the lower section of the cap while gently rotating the device helps achieve uniform results.
For microdosing, the bowl can be adjusted for upper or lower loading positions. Material placed further from the cap allows for longer, lower-temperature sessions with improved flavor retention.
Airflow
Airflow is adjusted by rotating the mouthpiece and can be changed during use. The visible airflow holes make fine adjustments easy. The Dani Punch 2.0 offers the most open airflow of any Battery-Free Ganz device in this form factor.
Materials & variants
The midsection is available in Vietnamese rosewood or stabwood. Stabwood is stabilized wood infused with resin. As these are natural and individually patterned materials, color and grain vary significantly, and visual matching to product images cannot be guaranteed.

Assembly & notes
The Dani Punch 2.0 uses a mixed thread system. The outer sleeve unscrews clockwise, while other components use standard counter-clockwise threads. Care should be taken during disassembly, as excessive force may cause damage. The airflow setting can optionally be locked to prevent accidental adjustment.
Cleaning
All metal components and O-rings can be soaked in isopropyl alcohol. The cap and wood or stabwood sleeve should not be exposed to alcohol. After cleaning, rinse with warm water and allow all parts to dry completely.
Additional features
The holes beneath the herb chamber act as a reclaim trap and can also be used with hash. Melted material is captured in this section and can be vaporized by reheating the cap, even without reloading the bowl.
Compatibility
The Punch 2.0 cap is not compatible with the Flare induction heater but works with many other induction systems as well as with a torch. Cap compatibility differs between Dani and Fusion models.

Conclusion
The Dani Punch 2.0 is a fast, responsive Thermal Extraction Device with open airflow, flexible dosing options, and broad induction compatibility. It is well suited for users who prefer short, efficient sessions and a highly reactive heating profile.
Heating tips & common mistakes – Dani Punch 2.0
- Always heat to at least the second click of the cap. Extend heating slightly if higher temperatures are desired.
- With induction heaters, insertion depth affects heat-up time. Deeper insertion results in a longer time to click.
- When using a torch, heat the lower section of the cap evenly while gently rotating the device.
- The Dani Punch 2.0 is tuned for fast response. Two heat cycles are usually required for full extraction.
- For microdosing, the screen can be positioned lower. Material further away from the cap is vaporized at lower temperatures.
- Airflow adjustment is done by rotating the mouthpiece clockwise only. Turning the wrong direction may loosen parts.
- Cleaning caution: The outer sleeve uses a reverse thread. Excessive force may cause damage.
- The Punch 2.0 cap is not compatible with the Flare induction heater.
