Boveda Humidi Pack
Boveda's packs are great for keeping your herbs fresh and aromatic. They come in a variety of sizes and moisture levels. They are simply placed inside your cans with your herbs. A very good combination is the Boveda Packs and CVault's stainless steel canning jars or our Tightvac canning jars.
Relative Humidity ( Relative Humidity RH ) for Cannabis:
It relatively doesn't matter which strain you choose to start with. Both 58% RH and 62% RH are within ASTM recommendations for safe storage of cananbis. Adjusting the room air is very quick with Boveda's packs.
It just comes down to personal preference. For example, if you live in a dry climate, or are used to consuming slightly drier flowers, it's best to start with the 58% packs. If you live in a humid climate, prefer sticky buds, or are concerned about mold, start with the 62% packs. No matter which one you choose, both are very good for your favorite herbs.
How to use Boveda Packs:
The manufacturer recommends slightly over-drying your herbs before storing them with Boveda Packs. Please be sure to keep the paper wrapping of the Boveda Packs closed! Fresh Boveda Packs feel soft, once your Boveda Pack feels solid, it is no longer functional and you should replace it.
In the first few days, you should open the container with the Boveda Pack regularly to activate the Boveda Pack. Subsequently, the container can remain closed for months.
- 4g (40x40) Boveda for containers with up to 15g of herbs
- 8g (70x64) Boveda for containers with up to 30g of herbs
- 67g (132x89) Boveda for containers with up to 500g of herbs
