Vaporizing – how it works
Unlike smoking, vaporizing does not involve combustion, so you do not inhale harmful substances. The herbs and extracts are heated gently inside the chamber. As vapor is produced, the herbs release their active compounds. The temperature of vaporizers can be adjusted individually to achieve an optimal aromatherapy experience. When herbs are heated by air flowing through them, this is called convection. Vaporizers that heat the entire herb chamber to the desired temperature use the principle of conduction. Some devices combine both methods.
