Divine Crossing V5 & Core Polished SIC Bucket
The new silicon carbide (SiC) buckets for the DC V5 & Core. SiC buckets are resistant to dirt and easier to clean than other materials.
Recommended settings:
V5 SiC Bucket settings - TCR 200-210, 36W, 260C - Watt mode 27-37w pulsing.
What is Silicon Carbide?
Silicon carbide is an excellent material for vaporizing due to its physical properties. It has a crystalline structure, the properties of this structure make the SiC Bucket easy to clean. Buildup is less likely to stick. This structure also makes it an incredibly dense and hard material that has a very high heat capacity. The advantage in steaming is that it can store large amounts of heat, with the sides being almost as hot as the base, and the cooling effect is reduced when air is passed over it.
The result is a higher vapor output at a given temperature compared to other materials. SiC is an insert material and provides a clean and accurate flavor profile of your concentrates and a consistent vapor. Since it forms at over 1600°C, it can be cleaned with a Bunsen burner similar to quartz.
With careful care, you can use the Bucket for years without damaging the surface with dabbing or most cleaning tools, as they are made of a much harder material.
