Puffco PIVOT
The Puffco PIVOT is probably the smallest concentrate vaporizer in the world that uses a 3D realtime temperature control system. The pivot also has excellent airfflow with basically zero draw resistance wich makes it very pleasant to use.The whole device actually feels very solid and very well made. The body is made from aluminum and just like the rest of Puffcos Products it's very refined, sleek and modern. It looks great.
What is 3D heating with realtime temperature control?
The heating wire is embedded in the walls of the chamber heating it from all sides and not just from the bottom. Realtime temp control means that the temperature in the chamber is measured controlled and then regulated. In this case the pivot has four temp presets between 260Ā°C / 500Ā°F and 307Ā°C / 585Ā°F.
Once the set temp has been reached the pivot holds that temp and doesn't go over it. The chamber makes realtime temperature adjustments to stay on the target temperature. This not only ensures terpene preservation and ideal flavor, it also makes your concentrates last longer as it vaporizes slowly instead of burning off quickly. But even more importantly real-time temp control ensures predictable repeatable and consistent results.
How to use the Pivot:
Unlock (Keep the Button pressed for 3 Seconds). One click to cycle through the four presets and double click to start heating up. Another double click will enter boost mode which adds 15 seconds and increases the temp by 7 Ā°C / 18Ā°F. 3 clicks in any setting will activate "Disco Mode". The pivot communicates statuses with haptic feedback and the light bar. On the front of the device it shows the current temperature level, a heat up progress bar and then three clicks will show the battery level. When the Device is turned on press 5 times on any setting to activate the Easter Egg Mode (Sehr hohe Temperatur).
The PIVOT is NOT a Peak Pro and doesnāt need to be. Itās designed for on-the-go use and offers one of the best experiences among dab pens currently on the market. A good and more affordable alternative is the Coil KING AiO.
Key Features / USPs

Material and Build:
The Pivot feels high-quality and is cleverly designed. The LEDs have various functions and make the PIVOT shine, especially in low light. The silicone mouthpiece is functional and provides an open draw. No other portable vape pen offers such an open draw! We recommend thoroughly cleaning the mouthpiece with alcohol. The typical smell fades quickly after the first use, leaving only the pure taste. A bit of metal debris may accumulate at the connection between the coil and battery threads from twisting on and off. We recommend wiping this area regularly.
Operation:
To turn on the PIVOT, hold down the start button. It will greet you with a vibration and a startup LED sequence. Very nice :). There are 4 temperature levels, each linked to a color:
- Blue (260Ā°C)
- Green (270Ā°C)
- Red (280Ā°C)
- White (305Ā°C)
Double-clicking activates the heating process, and the Pivot heats up quickly. You can switch between the 4 temperature levels by clicking once. Triple-clicking activates disco mode, where all LEDs light up in a rainbow pattern. There is an Easter egg mode for the PIVOT, which can be activated on either the Blue or White level. If you want extra smooth vapor, activate this mode on level 1 by pressing the button 5 times during heating. The LEDs will also start to glow in rainbow colors. The device will now heat in Easter egg mode. You can do the same on the White level for extra vapor.
The Easter egg mode is a "hidden" feature not mentioned in the manual, but it works on the Pivot, Proxy, and Peak Pro. Give it a try.
The Puffco PIVOT performs excellently in Easter egg Blue mode, with great flavor, allowing you to enjoy the dab longer. If you want to end the session early, just hold down the button. A word of caution, though: the last level and Easter egg mode can burn your extract if youāre not careful.
Accessories:
Here, we recommend a heated dab tool like our Buddy HDT. Itās perfect for loading even the stickiest extract into the somewhat small chamber. A neat and, above all, clean solution.
Cleaning:
Speaking of cleaning, you should clean the PIVOT after each use. The best way is with a cotton swab for the chamber and an alcohol wipe for the mouthpiece.
Tipps:
- Always turn the device off when traveling to avoid accidentally turn on in your pocket.
- Steady slow draws work best. Don't over do it!
- Use small amounts of material
- Clean after each use
- Keep the device upfront when in use. Otherwise the oil could run out
- 3 mm Ruby Pearl for autospin function
- Silicone lid no qtip cleaning possible, needs iso soak
- No 510 Connection
- USB-C Connector is silicone protected
Scope of Delivery:
- 1 x Puffco PIVOT (please choose color above)
- 4 x Cotton Swabs
- 1 x Dabbing Tool
- 1 x USB-C Cable
Our Verdict:
The Puffco PIVOT is an excellent dab pen, perfect for on-the-go use. The battery life is sufficient, and the airflow is fantastic. If you frequently want to sample small amounts and are often on the move, the PIVOT is a great choice. Just remember to carry some Q-Tips with you. Good maintenance is essential for devices like these.
