Fenix 2.0 Review
Finish:
The metal housing and the removable titanium heating chamber are characterized by a robust design and of high quality. The stainless steel airway provides clean, pure-tasting vapor. The titanium chamber is removable. This allows easy cleaning of the parts.
Patented AIR Heating® technology:
Through this technique, the herbs are evaporated effectively and evenly. This allows the device to produce a lot of vapor. Big clouds are guaranteed.
Built-in cooling:
Due to the cooling system similar to the Firefly 2+, the vapor is pleasant and soft. Thus, the inhalation of the herbs is gentle and the taste speaks for itself. The herbs unfold their full aroma.
OLED-Display:
The large display has enough room for battery status, temperature (160ºC to 221ºC) and runtime (3-7 minutes). Runtime and temperature can be adjusted. The device will switch off automatically after reaching the end of the run time cycle.
Powerful battery:
The Fenix 2.0 vaporizer has a powerful 4400 mAh build in battery that allows up to 75 minutes of use when fully charged. The battery charges in around 3 hours. The device is ready in about 30 seconds.
How to use the Fenix 2.0?
- Press on / off button 5 times quickly. The device will turn on / off and gives vibration feedback.
- Press the on / off button and the "-" button for 2 seconds to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius.
- Runtime setting: Press and hold the on / off button for 2 seconds until the timer appears. Select SET TIMER and use the control buttons +/- to set the operating time to 180 to 240 seconds.
- Vibration feedback when the set temperature has reached between 160° and 220° C.
- Battery status: once switched off, press the on / off button once. The battery symbol indicates the batterie level of the device.
Tips in dealing with the Fenix 2.0
Remove heating chamber:
For cleaning, the heating chamber can be removed. Insert the chamber removal aid into the grooves and turn 90°. Caution: Do not remove the chamber immediately after use as the parts may be hot. After cleaning, replace the chamber and bracket, use chamber removal tool to retighten the chamber.
Removing / inserting the mouthpiece:
To remove / insert the mouthpiece, the mouthpiece should be open. Hold the mouthpiece and the device at a 25° angle. Insert the mouthpiece into the device and press down until it snaps into place. To remove the mouthpiece, follow the instructions bevor in reverse order.
Use with herbs:
Remove mouthpiece. Loosely place herbs in the chamber. The chamber should not be overpacked. Put the mouthpiece back on. Set the desired temperature and you are ready to vaporize.
Charging instructions:
The battery has a capacity of 4400 mAh. For charging we recommend to use the micro-USB port. 5V / 2A current is recommended. Before first use, charge the Fenix 2.0 for approx. 3 hours. The battery is charged when the battery symbol is full. The device should not be used while charging.
