All metal components are colored using a PVD process, making the color on the VapCaps very durable. Note: The caps do not hold the color as well as the Dynavap itself. Especially the Rosium variant seems prone to color loss. However, this does not affect functionality. This color change is not a warranty issue and therefore will not be replaced by us.
The abbreviation PVD in PVD coatings stands for Physical Vapour Deposition, a process in which material, referred to as the target, is vaporized by bombardment with laser beams, magnetically deflected ions or electrons (sputtering), or by arc discharge (arc process). Arc evaporation and sputtering with different materials in the PVD process result in surfaces with excellent properties and impressive colors.

Each cap is generally a little different. Therefore, we recommend heating up a few times without herbs to get familiar with the click and the cap.
