Anvil DuraCore Full Metal Jacket (FMJ)
The FMJ is a cap for your Anvil DuraCore with a diameter of 12mm. It is made of copper and can retain heat much longer. The copper Full Metal Jacket is only compatible with the Vestratto Anvil DuraCore form. It also improves use with the Flare induction heater from BFG.
Why Copper?
By using copper on the cap, there is no need to rotate the tip to achieve even heating. The copper acts as a thermal reservoir, storing and evenly distributing heat, allowing you to control how dense and dark the extraction is during the first heating cycle. The copper jacket also serves as a better buffer for vaporization, meaning you have to worry less about reaction time after the click.
Heating:
As the copper heats up, it begins to change color. When this "hot spot" reaches about 3-4mm in size, you have the perfect distance for heating the cap. Once it clicks, you can inhale.
Warning: The cap gets very hot and stays hot for longer—please handle with care. Additionally, copper is not induction-compatible, so its unique heat conduction properties are less effective in an induction heater.
Usage:
Simply slide the cap over the cap of the Anvil DuraCore. Use it as described above. To remove it (caution: hot!), push the cap down until you can pull off the DynaVap cap. Then, simply pull the FMJ upwards to detach it.
TIP: For thick clouds, you can heat slightly beyond the click—experiment and find what works best for you.
