Mad Heaters Reload 3

The Pot for your Pot

The Reload 3 by Mad Heaters is a multifunctional vessel specifically tailored for the Tempest 2, but it’s also perfect for many other vaporizers: whether mechanical like the G3 or Dani Punch 2.0, or electronic like the Cuboo Stick or VaGo.

At first, I was skeptical: “An aluminum tin with a magnet – wow – who needs that?” But I can tell you one thing right now: I don’t want to be without it anymore. The Reload 3 is an absolute must-have!

Stoner Engineering at its finest. It looks simple, but don’t let that fool you—there’s a lot packed in there. Once you’ve experienced the Reload 3, there’s no going back.

Material and Construction

The Mad Heaters Reload 3 is made from high-quality aluminum and consists of three modules that are firmly screwed together via robust threads. This is absolutely incomparable to the thin-walled aluminum tins often handed out as giveaways by seed shops. With the Reload, you feel the quality and craftsmanship in every move.

Solid

The wall thickness is significantly greater, meaning nothing can be bent or dented during normal use. A particularly important point is also the thread. During an intensive session, the container is constantly opened and closed. In many other containers, this is exactly the weak point, as friction places heavy stress on the material.

A coarser thread was chosen for the Reload 3, which is resilient and operates smoothly. Nothing jams here, and there is no material abrasion. This is crucial because nobody wants pulverized aluminum in their herbs! The tin is easy to open and close, yet it seals extremely tight. An O-ring under the thread ensures everything remains absolutely airtight. That’s exactly what matters: reliable and comfortable handling in everyday life.

Multifunctional Lid

Cooling Stand for a Quick Click-Back

A strong magnet is attached to the lid. The Tempest 2 and Tornado hold on rock-solid, even in a horizontal position. You can use the lid as a stand: if you place your hot TED (Thermal Extraction Device) on the lid, the heat is dissipated through the lid and the body, accelerating the cooling time.

Decapper

On the underside of the magnetic lid is a precisely machined decapper.

It has happened to me quite often that I screwed my Tornado on too tight and simply couldn’t get it open after vaping. Then I had to look for pliers and very carefully unscrew the bowl, making sure not to scratch or damage anything (which, of course, I didn’t always succeed at).

Those days are finally over!

Whether Tornado, Tempest, or Dynavap: the decapper is precisely adapted to the shapes of the various heating caps and helps you open tightly sealed bowls effortlessly and, above all, without any damage.

Debowler

Inside the top container, you’ll find the debowler. A central ‘nail’ allows you to scrape out the bowl quickly and thoroughly. This section is spacious enough to collect about 3g of AVB (Already Vaped Bud). You don’t have to throw away the vaped herbs, as you can still use them wonderfully: bake cookies, stir them into yogurt, or sprinkle them on your fries 😊

Not only is the case itself multifunctional, but the debowler is too. Anything else would be too little versatility for Mad Heaters, after all.

Multi-Tool

On the underside of the container is the handle of the debowler, which visually resembles a small screwdriver. It performs exactly that function. The tip of the debowler is adapted to the small indicator screw of the Tempest 2. This allows you to unscrew the heating cap for cleaning or airflow adjustment, or use it for any other MacGyver-style action. The handle itself can also be used excellently as a tamper for gently packing the herbs or for precisely setting the screen position.

Stash

Below the debowler are two more containers for your herbs. Each of them fits about 2g of material. The middle container also has another gadget on its underside: a tamper with a slightly smaller diameter than that of the debowler. This is matched to the bowl size of Dynavap vaporizers. In addition, it has exactly the right height to set the Dynavap CCD (screen) to the half-bowl setting.

To do this, place the container with the tamper facing up on the table, place the CCD on top, and then push the Dynavap tip over it. The CCD clicks precisely into the notches of the bowl. Before this tool, I used to lose my mind trying to do this. With the Dynavap condenser trick, it took me nerve-wracking ages.

Multi-Pot

So, now you have two pots for weed and one for AVB. If I calculated correctly, you can take two different strains with you. But there’s a lot more possible. The middle pot is available as an add-on. This means that you can theoretically screw many more pots in between. In the end, you’ll have a whole “tower” of weed with you. That’s enough even for a longer trip.

The containers are available in different colors. Build your own multi-color Reload 3 case to easily visually distinguish between strains like Blue Cheese, Purple Punch, and Ice Cream Cake.

How many times have I written “multi” now? Not often enough. The thing is just multi-multi-multi cool.

In the past, you had to pack everything individually for on-the-go, only to realize later that you had forgotten something. Those days are finally over, as you now have everything compactly together: your weed and all your essential accessories.

For at Home and on the Go

The Reload 3 isn’t just for traveling, though. It’s now a permanent part of my stationary setup and keeps things tidy on my vape station. Now I have everything in one place. If I do want to clear some space, I can screw the whole thing together in a flash and pack it away to save space.

Verdict: Mad Heaters Reload 3

As the name suggests: the Reload 3 is there for reloading, and it does exactly that job without complaint. The annoying misplacing and searching for tools is completely eliminated, as everything is compact in an all-in-one system. There is definitely a life before the Mad Heaters Reload 3 and a much more organized one after.
