The Cuboo Cup: Discretion Meets Performance – The Mobile Companion for Your Vaporizers

In the world of vaporizers, we at Verdampftnochmal are constantly searching for accessories that are not only functional, but also reflect the lifestyle of our community. Today, we’d like to introduce a special highlight: the Cuboo Cup Water Filter.

A Disguised All-Rounder for On-the-Go

At first glance, the Cuboo Cup looks just like an ordinary to-go coffee cup. But behind its inconspicuous appearance hides a fully functional water filtration system with an integrated diffuser chillum. Inspired by the well-known Puffco Cupsy, our Cuboo Cup offers a discreet way to enjoy the benefits of smooth water filtration even while on the move.

Whether you’re at the park, strolling through the city, or relaxing at your favorite spot, the Cup is the perfect companion for vacations and everyday use. It fits into almost any cup holder and attracts virtually no attention, making it extremely discreet even during bag checks or border inspections. And if your mom suddenly drops by unexpectedly, everything still looks perfectly innocent.

Let’s be honest though: if you’re standing right next to a police officer, even a small vaporizer attached to the cup will stand out. No regular coffee steams that intensely. And the smell? Let’s just say the aroma is definitely a little “green.” But from a distance, the disguise is unbeatable. Best of all, after your session you don’t have to frantically hide the Cup in your backpack like the old acrylic bong back in the park-chilling days.

Perfect for Mechanical Vaporizers

What makes the Cuboo Cup so special to us is its versatility. It features a flexible 14 mm connection, making it the ideal companion for nearly all common vaporizers. Fans of mechanical devices like the Tempest 2, Dani Punch V 2, or a DynaVap will especially love its discreet handling. Of course, electronic vaporizers can also be used with the proper WPA, although this setup looks slightly less discreet.

When paired with a vaporizer, the water percolation provides effective cooling and humidification of the vapor. The result is a significantly smoother inhalation experience without noticeably restricting airflow.

Maximum Cooling for Hot Days

Thanks to its high-quality stainless steel construction, the cup is not only extremely durable for travel, but also keeps the cold exactly where you want it. On especially hot days, you can simply add a few ice cubes instead of cold water. This creates a wonderfully refreshing vapor that hits just right even during summer temperatures.

If you want to take things to the next level, simply place the Cup in the refrigerator for a while before use. The metal cup retains the cold for quite some time, effectively cooling the vapor with every draw. This gives even extremely powerful vaporizers like the Frolic a refreshing edge.

Material and Flavor: A Pleasant Surprise

At Verdampftnochmal, we usually prefer water filters made entirely of glass to guarantee maximum flavor purity. The Cuboo Cup, however, combines a sturdy stainless steel body with a ceramic insert and a silicone lid.

To be honest, we were initially skeptical about how the silicone and plastic components might affect flavor. But we were genuinely surprised by how clean and neutral the Cup tastes during use. The aroma of your herbs remains pure and unaltered, while the stainless steel construction provides a level of durability often missing from glass setups.

Cleaning and Handling

Using the Cup is incredibly simple: remove the lid, fill it with water, connect your vaporizer via the 14 mm joint, and enjoy. For cleaning, the Cuboo Cup can be fully disassembled into its individual parts. All components can easily be cleaned with warm water or isopropyl alcohol. Here’s a small tip: if you’re already cleaning your setup, you can toss your vaporizer parts directly into the Cup and let them soak together in the ISO bath.

Stoner Engineering: Tempest 2 Hack

When the Puffco Cupsy first launched, it was originally designed for smoking rather than vaporizers. The white ceramic bowl is a direct leftover from that era. With the Cuboo Cup, we intentionally decided to keep this relic because it works perfectly as an “off-label” adapter for the Tempest 2.

The big advantage here is that the Tempest doesn’t stick out of the Cup as much. With longer devices, you have to be careful not to accidentally burn your nose. For situations like this, short adapters like the one from the Tornado or the DynaVap Bonger are ideal. For concentrates, you can also connect a Puffco Proxy with the WPA.

If you still haven’t lost the small zip-lock bag with your Tempest spare parts, you’ll find four O-rings inside. Grab the largest and thickest one and slide it onto the bottom of the Tempest 2 head. You can now simply place it into the ceramic bowl.

In our tests, it held firmly during normal handling — almost as if it was designed for it. Still, it’s always best to stay a little careful.

Discretion Without Compromise

The Cuboo Cup is the perfect solution for anyone looking for a rugged, portable, and highly discreet water filter. It combines the familiarity of an everyday object with the performance of a professional bubbler.

Have you already tested the Cuboo Cup with your favorite vape? Whaaaat? You don’t even have a favorite vape yet? Then it’s time to hit the shop!

  • Will my vaporizer fit the Cuboo Cup?
Yes, as long as it uses a 14 mm male adapter (water pipe adapter / WPA) or fits directly into the 14 mm joint.
  • Is the Cup leak-proof?
During your session, the silicone lid keeps everything securely in place. However, since the Cup is not a hermetically sealed travel container, you should empty it before putting it into a bag or backpack. Better safe than sorry!
  • Does the material affect the flavor?
Thanks to the high-quality materials, the flavor remains surprisingly clean and neutral.
