The Dr. Dabber Switch² is a portable dabbing station for your home. Packed with state-of-the-art technology, it will alleviate your symptoms as soon as you unbox it.
At first glance, the Switch² reminds you of an espresso machine from the Star Trek universe: futuristic and sleek fits the description pretty well.
“Portable” in this case means moving it from the couch to the desk. A backpack works too, but not everyone wants to chauffeur a premium vaporizer around town.

Versatile Heating Chamber
Many concentrate vaporizers feature a ceramic heating chamber. However, these require meticulous care to prevent “chazzing” (burn-in). If you are too negligent with cleaning, your extract can quickly taste unpleasant and vaporize unevenly. Furthermore, a new heating chamber isn’t exactly the cheapest spare part.
Dr. Dabber has come up with something fine here: a modular heating chamber that comes with a quartz glass insert straight from the factory. Optionally, the “Doctor” provides inserts made of titanium or sapphire glass for the ultimate high-end setup.
Effortless to Keep Clean
The Quartz Glass Insert is affordable compared to standard ceramic heating chambers and much easier to keep clean. After your session, simply wipe it out with an Iso-soaked Q-Tip or wipe, and you’re ready for the next round.
Induction and Infrared Sensor
The heating chamber of the Dr. Dabber Switch² is something very special. Heating wires and rods have been dispensed with in favor of innovative technology: Induction.
You probably already know induction technology from the Cuboo Heater XL; if not, check out this post.
The built-in induction coil of the Switch² heats a metal chamber, which in turn transfers the heat to the glass insert. The entire chamber (sidewalls and bottom) is heated. This ensures very gentle and even heating of your concentrates, completely without hotspots.
The heating performance of the Switch² can be variably adjusted and customized.
Out of the box, there are three different dynamic heating profiles:
Descending: The heating process starts at the set temperature and then decreases the heat—exactly like you are used to when heating with a jet lighter.
Ascending: The heat is slowly increased—for particularly aromatic hits and an efficient finisher.
Static: A constant temperature level from start to finish.
Temperature measurement is handled via an infrared sensor. This has never been seen before in any other vaporizer. By using the IR sensor, not just the emitted energy, but the actual heat generated inside the insert is precisely measured.
Customization
You can tune the heating modes even more precisely to your needs and customize them via the app. This allows you to set heating profiles for different types of extracts, save them as presets, and even share them with others.
Versatile Usage
Speaking of extracts, here is an excerpt from Dr. Dabber’s Knowledge Base:
“The Switch 2 can vaporize pretty much anything you put in the cup, including full melt concentrates, flower, hash, water hash, moon rocks, kief, CBD, etc. We suggest using the Titanium Cup for dry material and plant-heavy concentrates such as hash and rosin.”

For more wellness during your aromatherapy, Dr. Dabber has installed an LED light strip. So, you get a bit of light therapy on top to cure your VAS suffering.

The LED doesn’t just look cool; it also gives you feedback on the different heating stages. The strip lights up either statically or animated in various colors, which you can also change via the app. There are also all kinds of LED themes. If the light show is too much for you, you can also activate Stealth Mode.
How-to
Suit up and get your finest extract ready, we’re getting started.
Remove the magnetic Carb Cap and set it aside. Place the glass insert into the chamber. Gently push the bubbler up and out of the Switch² from below and fill it with water until the percolator is slightly covered. Then, reinsert it.
To turn it on, use the power switch located on the back. Above it are three additional LEDs that inform you about the battery level. Startup is signaled by the LED strip and haptic vibration feedback.
Hot Knife Included
To make handling extracts easier for you, the “Doc” has included a Hot Knife right in the box. It features two temperature settings for cutting and dropping the extract.
Use it to take a small (or larger) amount and let the extract slide from the warm ceramic tip into the insert. Now, put the Carb Cap back on.
Use the + and – buttons on the front to set the temperature level. Confirm with the d-button, and the heating cycle begins. The LED glows green, and the Switch² gives you haptic feedback.
App Control
In parallel, you can also control the Dr. Dabber Switch² via the app, set the temperature to the exact degree, or choose from various presets. Check out the Manual and the latest Patch Notes here to get an even better overview.

Place your lips on the bubbler and inhale deeply. Use the Carb Cap with a circular motion to get the vapor evenly into your lungs. By now, your VAS should have subsided, and a wide grin should be lighting up your face.
